Il n'y a plus de thèmes latins, par conséquent on manque cruellement de crétins abyssaux. En bon citoyen, je me suis tourné vers le discours présidentiel où l'on trouve souvent des perles. Et je n'ai pas été déçu. Juste avant de rencontrer le most well known ministre britannique autour d'un triste saumon en papillote, le chef de l'Etat français se plaignit de devoir supporter une heure durant «ce crétin de Tony Blair», qualifié tout aussitôt de «con prétentieux».
J'étais sauvé. M'était soudain fournie une définition moderne, actuelle, efficace du crétin. Il suffit ensuite de l. a. décliner sur le mode scolaire. Un enchaînement de bonnes intentions mal maîtrisées et de calculs intéressés a délité en une trentaine d'années ce qui fut l'un des meilleurs systèmes éducatifs au monde. Faut-il incriminer les politiques, les profs, les mom and dad, les syndicats, les programmes ? En tout cas, l. a.
